SSO Portal for Internal Tools

As SmartUp's suite of internal tools grew, managing separate logins across systems became a friction point for the team. We built a centralized SSO portal to solve it — a single authentication layer that connects their most-used internal platforms under one organizational identity.

Staff sign in once using their Microsoft Entra ID credentials. The portal then handles authentication for connected tools via a secure SSO endpoint, passing identity through a shared secret so each application trusts the session without requiring a separate login.

• Microsoft Entra ID Integration: Authentication is handled through SmartUp's existing Microsoft organizational identity, so no new credentials are needed.
• Multi-platform SSO: Connected internal tools use the portal as their authentication provider via a secure endpoint and shared secret, eliminating per-app logins.
• Admin Platform Management: An admin interface allows managing which platforms are connected to the portal and controlling access.
• Secure by design: Session handling, rate limiting, and security headers are built in to keep the authentication layer robust.

The result is a cleaner, more secure internal environment — one login, all tools.
