As SmartUp moved into its next strategic cycle, the team needed a better way to track and communicate progress across programs, initiatives, and performance indicators. We built an internal strategy management platform to replace the spreadsheet-based approach — giving leadership and teams a shared, structured view of how the organization is moving against its goals.
The platform is built around a Balanced Scorecard model, covering four strategic perspectives: financial, customer, internal processes, and learning and innovation.
- Strategy Overview: Mission, vision, values, and program direction in one place.
- Scorecard Dashboard: Performance at a glance across all strategic perspectives, with targets and progress indicators.
- Program Views: Dedicated views for each of SmartUp's four programs — Public Innovation, Climate Change, Education, and Youth Development.
- Objectives, Measures & Targets: Structured tracking with progress updates tied to the multi-year action plan.
- Initiative & Activity Tracking: Activities linked to the 2026–2029 plan with ownership, status, and timelines.
- Bulk Import: Load data from planning spreadsheets to keep the platform current without manual re-entry.
- Search & Activity Feed: Day-to-day usability for team members checking status or logging updates.
- Role-based Access: Admins, managers, contributors, and viewers each see and can do what's appropriate for their role.
